Petitioner approached this court as her information disclosed a cognizable offence and inspite of the same the Inspector-in-Charge, Kultali Police Statioin did not take any steps.

Learned advocate for the state has submitted a report of the Inspector-in-Charge, Kultali Police Station which reflects that Kultali Police Station Case No. 847/24 dated 10.11.2024 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of BNS. In view of the state having registered case on the complaint filed by the present petitioner the purpose for which the writ petition has been preferred has been subserved.

Police authorities would take the investigation to its logical conclusion.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 28095 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
