Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner do not intend to proceed with the present bail application. Learned advocate for the de-facto complainant submits that the victim is a young girl was mislead by certain individuals from whom there were extortion by way of regular demand of money for financial investments and the SIM Card were linked to the accused persons in such a manner that the victim lost her senses because of the huge amount which has been transmitted in favour of the accused persons. The victim was an employee of TCS who according to the de-facto complainant was not only duped but she was black-mailed and extorted to such an extent that she had to terminate her life at an early age.

Learned advocate for the State submits that further investigation of the case is in progress and very recently only another accused person has been arrested from Gorokhpur and the present accused was arrested from Assam.

Be that as it may, since learned advocate for the petitioner do not intend to proceed with the case, CRM (M) 2609 of 2025 is dismissed as not pressed.
