Re:CPAN 1212 of 2024 (contempt application).

A prima facie case of contempt has been made out inasmuch as the alleged contemnor has apparently not complied with the order of this Court dated December 19, 2022 passed in WPA No. 27761 of 2022, inter alia directing the alleged contemnor to decide the quantum of compensation payable to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that although, in part compliance of the order, the alleged contemnor has taken a report from the concerned BL&LRO, no adjudication has been made pursuant to the order of this Court within the time as stipulated in the said order, that is, within three months from the

date of approach being made to the alleged contemnor.

Hence, the petitioner shall serve a copy of the contempt application on the alleged contemnor indicating that the same shall be listed on May 2, 2025, when an affidavit-of-service shall be filed to that effect by the petitioner.
