We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the victim shows petitioner tried to rape her. At that time she resisted and he hit her with a sharp cutting weapon resulting in her finger being cut. Medical reports corroborate her statement. 3.

In view of gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected.
