I find that in the instant case the Superintendent (Presidency Correctional Home) has complained regarding a mobile phone being recovered from a particular ward which violates the provisions of West Bengal Correctional Services Act.

In view of the seriousness of the allegations, I am not inclined to interfere with the investigation. Let the investigation of the case continue and reach its logical conclusion.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 4558 of 2023 is disposed of.
