The petitioners pray for expeditious disposal of the application under Section 8 and 9 of the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955 being Misc. Case No.16593 of 2011, which is pending before the learned Civil Judge (Jr. Division), 6th Court, Alipore, South 24 Parganas.

The prayer of the petitioners is innocuous.
Neither party stands to lose if a proceeding is disposed of expeditiously.
In fact, such expeditious disposal shall enure to the benefit of the parties. Hence, there is no requirement for service of prior notice upon the opposite parties. 3.
This revisional application is disposed of by requesting the learned Trial Judge to dispose of the said application within six months from the next date fixed upon giving adequate opportunity to all the contesting parties, but without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, strictly in accordance with law.

This court has not expressed any opinion either on the merits of the application. The learned court shall proceed independently and in accordance with law.

A copy of the revisional application along with a server copy of this order be served upon the opposite parties and/or the learned advocate contesting the matter on behalf of the opposite parties in the learned court below, within a week. 6.
Affidavit-of-service to be filed before the Court below.

The revisional application is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
