The petitioner prays for a direction upon the respondent authorities to remove the private respondents from the office of the Cooperative Society.

It appears from the documents annexed to the writ petition that the term of the Board of Directors of the Cooperative Society has come to an end. Instead of taking any steps for removal of the members of the Cooperative Society, the Cooperative Society ought to take steps for holding fresh election for constitution of the Board of Directors. In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the Cooperative Society to take steps for holding the election in accordance with law.

It will be open for the petitioner to approach the Cooperative Election Commission for proceeding to conduct the election of the Cooperative Society in accordance with law. The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously, on compliance of usual legal formalities.
