Heard the learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. Complicity of the petitioner in dealing in narcotics has transpired from the statement of co-accused, telephonic exchanges between petitioner and co-accused from whom narcotics was recovered as well as his criminal antecedents. Investigation is in progress and custodial interrogation is necessary to reveal evidence with regard to complicity of the petitioner in the crime.

Hence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
