Petitioner is in custody for 85 days. It is submitted victim was major and a consenting party.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits victim has been gang raped.

We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the victim shows petitioner had lured the victim and gang raped her.

In view of the gravity of the offence and vulnerability of the victim, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
