Learned counsel for the State has produced a report in the form of instructions dated 17th April, 2023 issued by the Officer-in-Charge, Panchasayar Police Station, Kolkata Police, addressed to the learned State Advocate and the same is taken on record. 2.

It is submitted that FIR being Panchasayar Police Station Case No.13 dated 20th May, 2022 under section 380 of the IPC has been registered. CCTV footage of the bank has been seized and the employees of the bank have been examined.

It is ordered that the investigation into the aforesaid FIR be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 45 days from date. 4.

The investigating officer shall, if necessary, take assistance of a senior officer of the Lalbazar. The Commissioner of Police, Kokata shall nominate an

officer not less than the rank of DCP to supervise the investigation and guide the investigating officer. 5.

Let a copy of the final report be made available to the counsel for the petitioner.

Pendency of the aforesaid proceedings shall not prevent the petitioner for instituting appropriate civil proceedings.

7.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

8.

There shall be no order as to costs.

9.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
