The grievance of the petitioner is directed against illegal and unauthorized construction by the private respondent.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there has been failure on the part of the respondent Corporation to consider and dispose of the representation dated 11th November, 2024.

It is further submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the private respondents have unlawfully and illegally carried out the construction on the subject premises without any authority of law. In this connection the petitioner also relies on photographs to substantiate the above allegations. On behalf of the respondent Corporation it is submitted that during the pendency of this writ petition, the Corporation has passed an order dated 21st June, 2025 inter-alia regularizing the alleged deviation.

In view of the subsequent facts which have transpired after filing the writ petition, the writ petition has for all purposes has become infructuous. WPA 28181 of 2024 is disposed of. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the impugned order dated 21st June, 2025 and all consequential actions taken thereto in accordance with law. (Ravi Krishan Kapur, J.)
