The Inspector-in-charge, Cyber Crime Police Station, Krishnagar Police District has filed a report dated 9th January, 2023. The same is taken on record. It appears from the said report that the accused, namely, Imjamul Hoque Biswas has been arrested and is in police remand. It further appears from the said report that his bail application was rejected once by this Court and once by the Court below.

It is expected that the medical reports of both of the victim girls as well as the accused person, shall be obtained.

An aggressive and thorough investigation shall be carried out by the Cyber Crime Police Station, Krishnagar Police District. Efforts shall be made to inform the public at large residing in the locality, not to store the obscene photographs of the victim girls in any medium.

The police and the Public Prosecutor shall diligently oppose the bail application of the accused person.

It is also expected that the investigation is completed within a period of 45 days from date and report in final form be submitted before the jurisdictional Magistrate.

The report of the Inspector-in-charge, Cyber Crime Police Station, Krishnagar Police District is concise and comprehensive and appreciated.

Every effort must be made to provide counseling for the victim girls and the police and the District Legal Services Authority shall render appropriate assistance in this regard.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
