According to the ld. advocate for the petitioner, the hearing of the said application is still pending.

I have perused the contents of the application which was preferred by the petitioner/defacto-complainant. However, since the application is pending for about 20 months, I direct the ld. Addl. Sessions Judge, Ghatal, Paschim Medinipur, to dispose of the said application dated 2.3.2022 within a period of 45 days from the date of communication of the order.

All the necessary parties may be issued notice prior to the hearing taking place.

Needless to state that this court has not entered into the merits of the case but has only directed the ld. trial

court/Sessions Court to dispose of the application in accordance with law which has been pending for a considerable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 4571 of 2023 is disposed of.
