Learned counsel for the WBSEDCL files a report as per previous direction. The report be kept on record.

It is contended that upon inspection it has been found that there exists a submersible pump at the locale now and basic formalities have been complied with by the petitioner.

Subject to compliance of further formalities, if any, the connection can be given to the petitioner. 4.

However, it is further submitted by learned counsel for the WBSEDCL that due to the ongoing cultivation, as per the extant Regulations, the connection can be given within 180 days.

In such view of the matter, WPA 26759 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the WBSEDCL, subject to compliance of all formalities by the petitioner, to give electricity connection to the petitioner to

operate his submersible pump within 180 days from date positively.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
