The petitioner complains that the police are not taking any steps in response to the complaint lodged on 27th October, 2023. The petitioner is being resisted by the private respondent to enter into his own house. Learned advocate representing the State respondents submits, upon instruction from the Inspector-in-Charge, Nabadwip PS signed on 13th December, 2023 that, for maintaining peace, the police has submitted prosecution vide NCR No. 645/23 dated 02.11.2023 under Section 107/116 (C) Cr.P.C. against both the parties.

A further prosecution being Nabadwip P.S. 644/23 dated 02.11.2023 under Sections 107/116 (C) Cr.P.C. has also been submitted.

The issue revolves around the dispute relating to property between the parties.

The parties will be at liberty to approach the competent civil forum for necessary relief.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
