Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 2 years 2 months and he has been falsely implicated in connection with the instant case. It has also been pointed out that there is no evidence to suggest the petitioner being involved in the offence and considering the period for which he has been detained he may be released on bail. Learned advocate for the State, on the other hand,

opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there are materials in support of the case, additionally the evidence of the victim is in progress.

Having considered the stage of the case, I am of the view that presently without the victim being completely examined, it would not be fit and proper for allowing the relief prayed for by the petitioner.

Accordingly, CRM(M) 2618 of 2025 is dismissed. Report submitted by the State be kept with the record. Petitioner would renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of the victim is over.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
