Singh ... for the respondent nos.6 & 7 The petitioner alleges that the respondent nos.6 and 7 had raised a construction on R.S. Dag No.1034 corresponding to L.R. Dag No.1148 of Mouza - Uttar Ramchandrapur, without any permission from the South 24 Parganas Zilla Parishad.

Learned advocate for the said respondents submits that permission had been taken for such construction from the Sonarpur Panchayat Samity and the construction has been made strictly in accordance with such permission.

Under such circumstances, the Court is of the view that the allegation of the petitioner does not, prima facie, appear to be correct. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Sonarpur Panchayat Samity with a query as to whether such sanction had been granted and also with a further query as to under which provision of law such sanction has been granted.

The competent authority of Sonarpur Panchayat Samity shall provide the necessary information to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of communication of this order.

On the basis of the communication, the petitioner may proceed in accordance with law, if the need arises.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of server copy of this order as well as on the basis of communication of the learned advocates.
