The petitioner is seeking a direction upon the respondent authority for consideration of his prayer vide letter dated July 24, 2024.

In spite of service of copy of the writ petition, no one is appearing for the State.

Mr. Deb Roy, learned advocate who generally appears for the State is present in Court and he is requested to assist the Court in this matter. Let his appointment be regularized in due course of time.

Considering the submissions of the learned advocates and the records, the Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition by directing the Board to consider the petitioner's prayer for variation of the route without changing the termini points by dint of his letter dated July 24, 2024.

The same shall consider and decide after giving an adequate opportunity to the petitioner for hearing and by dint of a reasoned order.

The same shall conclude the entire exercise as above within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of copy of this order.

Let the said order be communicated to the petitioner within a week from the date of hearing. With the above direction, the writ petition No. WPA 28231 of 2024 is disposed of.

Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
