51.5 kilograms of ganja was recovered from the house of one Anil Kumar Mondal. The petitioner is Anil's son. According to the State, Anil and Pulok both fled when the police went to conduct raid and seized the contraband items.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner disputes the submission made on behalf of the State.

We have seen statements of neighbours recorded under Section 161 Cr.P.C. Prima facie, there appears to be sufficient incriminating material against the petitioner. 4.

In view of commercial quantity of contraband item being involved and keeping in mind the restrictions in Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail, at this stage.
