The prayer of the petitioner for counting his past service has been disallowed by the Deputy Director of School Education (Law), West Bengal vide order dated 21st August, 2025. The same is impugned in the instant writ petition.

Prayer for adjournment has been made on behalf of the learned advocate representing the State respondents.

It appears that the instant writ petition cannot be decided without granting opportunity to the respondents to file the affidavit-in-opposition. 5.

In view of the above, let affidavit-inopposition be prepared and circulated within a period of four weeks. Reply, if any, may be filed within a fortnight thereafter.

Liberty to mention the matter for hearing immediately on completion of the aforesaid time period. 7.

According to the petitioner, the issue in question has already been decided by the Court vide order dated 28th November, 2024 passed in WPA 27710 of 2024 filed by the petitioner which is annexed at pages 60 to 62 of the writ petition.

All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
