It is the petitioner's case that he is a patient of Thalasemia and his present college is far away from his residence.

It appears that the petitioner had applied for transfer from his existing college to another college. Subsequently he gave his choice for more options. However, the vacant posts for all the options given have been filled up. Therefore, he wants to make a prayer for immediate transfer to any college in the district of Paschim Medinipur.

Let the petitioner make an application for transfer as referred to above before the respondent authorities within a week from this date.

The respondent authorities, in such event, shall consider the application upon giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of making such application. The decision shall be communicated within a week from its date. The College authority would also issue necessary no objection certificate in this regard.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
