However, there is delay in the trial because of the petitioner evading the process of law as is reflected from the records of the case.

Learned advocate for the State submits that 10 witnesses have already been recalled and six more witnesses are to be recalled for evidence. The crossexamination of the said witnesses would commence very soon.

Having considered the stage of the case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is Rejected.

However, the petitioner would renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of the six witnesses is over. Accordingly, CRM(M) 2624 of 2025 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
