Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner initially was granted bail but has been subsequently arrested because he could not appear on some occasions before the learned Trial Court and since his subsequent arrest he is in custody for two years seven months. Learned advocate draws the attention of the Court to the evidence of PW1/victim and submits that there is limited participation of the petitioner for which he was initially granted bail and the subsequent detention is for a considerable period of time which warrants the release of the petitioner. Learned advocate for the State on the other hand submits that prosecution intends to examine 8 witnesses out of

which 6 witnesses have already been examined and the evidence of the 7th witness is in progress.

Having considered the belated stage at which the petitioner has approached this Court.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 2625 of 2025 is dismissed. Report submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
