The grievance of the petitioner is towards disconnection of electricity by WBSEDCL.

On behalf of WBSEDCL, it is submitted that there are dues of more than Rs.2,71,672/- which are outstanding in respect of the subject connection. It is also submitted on behalf of the WBSEDCL that the petitioner is in the business of selling electricity to third parties.

This submission is disputed by the petitioner. On behalf of the petitioner, it is submitted that on a complaint filed before the Grievance Redressal Officer, the representation made before the Grievance Redressal Officer has been dismissed and the petitioner proposes to challenge the order by filing an appeal.

In view of the above, the petitioner has no legally enforceable right to maintain this writ petition, at this stage.

WPA 27934 of 2025 stands dismissed.

Liberty is granted to the petitioner to pursue his remedy in accordance with law.
