Report of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, North 24 Parganas reflects that the records have been traced out and copies have been served upon the accused persons and the next date has been fixed on 22nd May, 2024.

In view of the aforesaid, the learned CJM, Barasat will fix date for consideration of charges and thereafter if it is of the opinion that the trial of the case is required to be proceeded, then in that case, the learned trial court would fix one date in every three months so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. No unnecessary adjournment be granted to any of the parties. Learned public prosecutor conducting the case would produce all the materials, documents and exhibits on the date so fixed for examination of the witnesses. All stakeholders would cooperate with the trial court to conclude the trial at the earliest.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 4582 of 2023 is

disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

Reports submitted by the learned District Judge, 24 Parganas North, the learned CJM, Barasat through the Assistant Registrar be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
