C.R.R. 4583 of 2023 In the matter of : Niraj Kumar Jaideoka ... Petitioner. Earlier this revisional application was called on 11.12.2023 when none appeared for the petitioner. Today also when the revisional application has been called, none represents the petitioner.

The subject-matter of the present revisional application relates to expeditiously disposing of the complaint case being CS/008193/2015 which is pending before learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 18th Court, Calcutta under the provisions of Sections 323/385/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. I find that the petitioner is the complainant and is aggrieved by the design of the accused who is evading the process of law.

In view of the period which has lapsed since 2015, I direct the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 18th Court, Calcutta to exhaust harsher process of law in respect of the accused person/persons who are evading trial and fix schedule/dates for concluding the trial within a limited period of time.

All efforts be taken by the learned trial court to conclude the trial at the earliest.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 4583 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
