1. The petitioner alleges that the private respondents are illegally operating a brick kiln. This allegation appears to be incorrect as in the representation/mass petition given by the petitioner, they have admitted that the West Bengal Pollution Control Board has granted consent to operate by order dated 22.03.2024.

2. Therefore, as long as the order remains intact, the question of entertaining the writ petition with a prayer as sought for does not arise. However, it will be open to the petitioner to challenge the order passed by the Board on the ground alleged by them before the appropriate forum in accordance with law.

3. In the result, the writ petition stands dismissed. Copy of the order passed by the West Bengal Pollution Control Board granting consent to operate brick
