Learned advocate representing the Corporation submits, upon instruction that, the Corporation has already been sought for police help to be provided at the time of implementing the order of demolition. As soon as help will be provided, the Corporation will proceed to implement the said order.

It appears that the time within which the subject unauthorised structure was directed to be demolished by the person responsible expired long back. The Corporation is duty bound to

implement the order of demolition without any further delay.

The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation to execute the order of demolition at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The Commissioner of Police, Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate and Officer-in-Charge, Baguiati Police Station both are directed to render adequate police protection to implement the order of demolition.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties taking all legal formalities.
