1. The petitioner's prayer for fixation of his pay as per ROPA considering additional grade pay is pending consideration before the Additional District Inspector of Schools, Secondary Education, Contai Sub-Division.

2. Learned advocate representing the State respondents submits, upon instruction that, there is no provision for consideration of grant of additional grade pay while calculating initial pay under ROPA 2019.

3. As it appears that the request made by the petitioner is pending consideration before the authority, accordingly, the instant writ petition stands disposed of directing District Inspector of Schools (SE), Purba Medinipur to consider the prayer of the petitioner and passed reasoned order and communicate the same to him at the earliest but positively within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the subject representation seeking consideration to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

5. The writ petition is disposed of.

6. The report from District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Purba Medinipur dated December 11, 2025 is taken with the record.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
