Heard learned advocate appearing for the petitioner and considered the averments in the contempt application against the alleged violation of the order dated 28th June, 2021, according to which the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Coochbehar/Alleged contemnor was directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner in question within 12 weeks from the date of passing of the order, but till date, no such order has been passed disposing the representation in question. On perusal of the contempt petition, I am of the prima facie view that the alleged contemnor has violated the order of this Court dated 28th June, 2021 and accordingly, let a contempt rule be issued against the alleged contemnor returnable on 17th November, 2023.
