1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

2. Despite notice of the writ petition and upgradation thereof, the private respondents/younger son and daughter-in-law are not represented.

3. The writ petitioners complain of alleged inaction on the part of the Burtolla Police Station in respect of a complaint against the younger son, Avijit Banik and his wife Barnali Das.

4. The daughter-in-law has filed proceedings under Section 498A of the IPC against the petitioners. Separate complaints have also been lodged against the elder son, Suvajit Banik.

5. Admittedly, the house-in-question belongs entirely to the petitioners.

6. Burtolla Police Station shall ensure that the private respondents do not in any way disturb the petitioners.

7. In the event of any further grievance from the petitioners, Burtolla Police Station shall register FIR and take steps in accordance with law.

8. Let appropriate warnings be issued to the private respondents by the Burtolla Police Station.

9. Burtolla Police Station shall ensure that the aforesaid order is carried out in letter and spirit. 10.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
