Banerjee) ... petitioners Mr. Tapas Kumar Ghosh Mr. Tanmoy Chowdhury ... for the petitioners Mr. Sanjib Kumar Dan ... for the State The petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that till date the learned Magistrate did not overcome the stage of consideration of charges in connection with Chandannagar Police Station case no. 227 of 2021 dated October 10, 2021.

The petitioners are directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon Mr. Sanjib Dan, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears for the State. The engagement of Mr. Dan may be regularized.

Having considered that the case was initiated on 10th October, 2021 and more than two years have lapsed since then, I direct that the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, 2nd Court at Chandannagore, Dist. Hooghly would, on the next date so advised or within a month thereafter, overcome the stage of consideration of charges. The learned trial Court, according to his convenience thereafter, would fix dates on regular intervals, if it so considers, the trial of the case should

proceed. All efforts be taken by the learned trial Court to conclude the trial at the earliest.

With the above observation CRR 4591 of 2023 is disposed of.
