The writ petition is restored to its original file and number.

Re: WPA 27940 of 2026 With the consent of the parties, the writ petition is taken up for hearing.

Petitioner alleges that in spite of a direction passed by the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal directing the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer to consider the prayer for settlement of the land by way of patta, no steps have been taken by the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer.

Since the petitioner is alleging violation of an order passed by the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal, it will be open to the petitioner to take appropriate steps in accordance with law. With the above observations this writ petition stands disposed of.
