Dawn, Advocates ... for the Municipality By this petition the petitioners have challenged notification dated 24.10.2017 declaring the intention of inclusion of certain villages within Suri Municipality in the District Birbhum.

Learned counsel for the State has informed that subsequently those areas were included within the limits of Suri Municipality and two elections being Parliamentary Election and Legislative Assembly Election have also been held on that basis.

Be that as it may since no one is present on behalf of the petitioners to prosecute this petition, the petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.
