1. Petitioner has deposited misappropriated sum as would appear from the articles of charge served upon him.

2. Though the petitioner was a bank officer and it is alleged he had misappropriated public funds, in light of the fact that he had refunded the amount we are of the opinion committing the petitioner to custody is not necessary and he may be granted anticipatory bail.

3. Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of BNSS 2023.

4. Petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date.
