It is contended on behalf of the petitioners that the respondent no.3, being the Chief Engineer, West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Ltd. is illegally and arbitrarily installing an electric pole on the land belonging to the petitioners .

This is the second pole, which is being installed in the land of the petitioners and is done arbitrarily and capriciously.

In view of failure of the respondent no.3 in considering and disposing of the representation of the petitioners, WPA 27841 of 2025 stands disposed of by directing the respondent authorities to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of

this order and after giving a right of hearing to the petitioner.

It is made clear that there has been no expression on the merits of the case and all questions are left open to be decided by the Appropriate Authority in accordance with law.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
