There are materials in the case diary suggesting that the petitioner is involved in the racket of fake currency. The principal accused was however enlarged on bail by the jurisdictional Court.

The investigations are yet to be concluded.

Requirement of custodial interrogation of the petitioner cannot be overlooked at this stage due to his complicity in the incident.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (A) 5887 of 2022 is dismissed.
