In Re : CAN 1 of 2024 Petitioner has prayed for restoration of the writ petition by way of filing the instant application. The reasons so assigned in the application are found to be just and sufficient.

Accordingly, WPA 26831 of 2023 is restored to its original file and number.

Consequently CAN 1 of 2024 is allowed.

In Re : W.P.A. 26831 of 2023 Affidavit of service filed be kept with the record.

The subject matter of the writ petition relates to a representation which was furnished with

the Commissioner of Police, Kolkata and the Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Suburban Division, Kolkata.

The subject matter relates to the petitioner being a daughter intending to meet her mother who is presently residing with respondent no. 5.

In view of the subject matter referred to hereinabove petitioner will file a fresh representation to the Officer-in-charge, Bansdroni Police Station. The Officer-in-charge, Bansdroni Police Station will assist the petitioner to meet the mother, provided the mother is willing to meet the petitioner. Police authorities would only check regarding the willingness and unwillingness of the mother and will not rely upon the statement of any of the private respondents.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 26831 of 2023 is disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
