1. A report is filed in the form of affidavit, as per previous direction, by the Distribution Licence, which is kept on record.

2. Learned counsel for the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) submits that upon the last inspection, it was found that the petitioner, in the meantime, has installed a submersible pump and has constructed a meter room.

3. Accordingly, the WBSEDCL is agreeable to raise a quotation for the petitioner to deposit the money for the purpose of getting electricity connection.

4. In such view of the matter, W.P.A. No. 26847 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the WBSEDCL to raise a quotation/offer to the petitioner for giving

electricity connection to the petitioner to operate his submersible pump

5. Such quotation/offer shall be raised within a week from date. Thereafter, upon the petitioner complying with all due formalities in that regard, the electricity connection shall be given to the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of such compliance by the petitioner.

6. There will be no order as to costs.

7. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
