Report submitted by the Superintendent of Police, Barasat Police District reflects that Barasat Police Station Case No.566 of 2024 dated 16.09.2024 under the relevant provisions of Indian Penal Code, Passport Act and Foreigners' Act is in progress. Police authorities have arrested three of the accused persons. The investigation carried out by the police authorities prima facie reflects also that the respondent no.5 happens to be a foreign national. Be that as it may, the investigation of the case is in progress. As such, the Superior Officer of the police would monitor and take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 28333 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted by the Superintendent of Police, Barasat Police District be kept with the record.
