1. Trial is in progress.

2. Petitioner stands implicated in murder.

3. Eye-witness version of the prosecution witnesses are yet to be dislodged.

4. Notwithstanding the period of custody, which is canvassed as a ground for grant of bail, we do not find it desirable to enlarge the petitioner on bail, given the materials on record.

5. In the facts and circumstances of the case, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. The prayer for bail is, thus, rejected.

7. CRM (DB) 3996 of 2024 is disposed of.
