1. Learned counsel for the petitioner, who has filed the writ petition on behalf of his minor daughter, submits that despite having applied for getting an OBC certificate, the respondent-authorities have not issued the same.

2. Learned counsel for the petitionerplaces reliance on the information obtained by the petitioner annexed at page13 which shows the status of the application and the corresponding number.

3. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

4. From the status, it transpires that the petitioner, on behalf of his minor daughter, has not submitted hard copy of the relevant documents.

5. Accordingly, WPA No. 26858 of 2023 is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner, on behalf of his minor daughter, to approach the respondent-authorities with the hard copy of the relevant documents within a week

from date. Upon such approach being made, the respondents shall consider the petitioner's application, on behalf of his minor daughter, for grant of OBC certificate in accordance with law and take a decision thereon as expeditiously as possible, preferably within six weeks from the date of such approach being made.

6. There will be no order as to costs.

7. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
