Petitioner renews his prayer for bail. It is submitted there is no progress in the matter before the trial court. He prays for bail. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits petitioner is the principal accused.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses show petitioner assaulted the victim resulting in his death.

Keeping in mind the principal role of the petitioner in the crime and as his bail prayer was rejected earlier, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. (Ajay Kumar Gupta, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
