The matter relates to inter-district transfer. The petitioners were appointed before creation of a new district Jhargram. Now they want transfer to their home district by virtue of one order passed by the Government of West Bengal dated 11.03.2020 (Annexure 'P-3' of the writ application).

Before granting any transfer the Council will check and verify the pupil-teacher ratio in the schools of the petitioners and to intimate the same to the West Bengal Board of Primary Education and thereafter West Bengal Board of Primary Education will consider the matter of the petitioners. They will consider the matter of transfer in accordance with the

present transfer policy of the Government.

The entire exercise is to be completed by four months from the date of communication of this order to the concerned District Primary School Council and to the West Bengal Board of Primary Education.

With this observation and direction this writ application is disposed of.
