Status report filed by the State, be kept with the records.

We find that there is some delay in progress of the trial, but the prosecution cannot be blamed for that. 2 out of 3 accused persons were and still are absconding. The trial has now been split up and is all set to progress against this petitioner.

311 grams of brown sugar was recovered from this petitioner. Commercial quantity of contraband items being involved, we are not inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage.

The prayer for bail is rejected.

CRM (NDPS) 1851 of 2024 is dismissed.

We further notice from the report of the State that the prosecution proposes to examine 6 out of 9 charge sheet named witnesses. Therefore, it is expected that the trial shall conclude within a reasonable period of time. 7.

We direct the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial to the extent possible and conclude the same on an early date.

The parties shall communicate this order to the learned Trial Court.
