Learned Advocate for the petitioners submit they are inlaws of the victim housewife. 2.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Incident occurred six years after marriage. Allegations of torture are general and omnibus. Principal accused i.e. husband and mother-in-law are on regular bail.

Hence, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioners viz., 1) Sk. Naused @ Sk. Nausad Ali, 2) Sk. Saidul @ Sk. Saidul Ali, 3) Rupsana Begum @ Rupsona Khatun, 4) Sk. Anarul @ Sk. Anarul Ali and 5) Sk. Samirdul @ Sk. Samidul Ali be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each, with two sureties of like amount each, to the Signed By : ALOK SETH High Court of Calcutta 11 th of December 2024 03:45:15 PM

satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS. They shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date.
