The petitioner's prayer seeking higher scale of pay on acquiring Post Graduate degree is pending consideration at the end of the respondent authorities. 2.

Without entering into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education), Nadia to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application in accordance with law, after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and all other necessary parties at the earliest but positively within twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

If the prayer of the petitioner is allowed, then necessary consequential steps shall be taken by the authority without any further delay.
