The petitioner complains that the private respondent/brother is disturbing her by disconnecting electricity and water.

The brother is represented. He has flatly denied the same.

Counsel for the CESC submits that they have already given the electricity connection to the petitioner, which is the subject matter of challenge before the Ombudsmen.

This Court is of the view that the petitioner may reconnect the private electricity lines that may have been disconnected to restore her electricity. She may also affect repairs of the water connection to her portion of the residence.

Admittedly, there are civil proceedings pending between the mother and the brother one side and the writ petitioner on the other.

The private respondents, son and mother, shall not disrupt the electricity and water supply connections to the petitioner.

The police have registered Kasba Police Station FIR No. 56 of 2021 dated 23rd February, 2021. Investigation is completed and charge-sheet being C.S. No. 102 of 2021 dated 19th April, 2021 has been filed. 8.

This Court finds no inaction on the part of the Kasba Police Station. Kasba Police Station shall ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area. 9.

The report of Kasba Police Station dated 17th April, 2023 in the form of instructions addressed to the State Advocate filed in Court today be taken on record.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
