Mr. Subir Sanyal, learned Senior advocate for the West Bengal Board of Primary Education submits that in terms of the order dated November 21, 2025, the Board has considered the report of the Expert

Committee. The Committee has opined that all options of the answer keys in respect of question no. of Booklet Code-CXN of the subject Environmental Science of TET-2017 are wrong.

It is now required to be looked into as to whether an additional marks can be awarded to the candidates of TET-2017 but to complete the said exercise, two months time is necessary.

Mr. Sanyal, however, candidly submits that the unsuccessful candidates of TET-2017 who would be found successful after awarding the said additional mark will be allowed to participate in the selection process.

The Board is directed to upload the report of the Expert Committee by November 26, 2025 in its Website without disclosing the names of the members of the said committee.

Place the matter before the Regular Bench for consideration on merit.

The report of the Expert Committee be kept in the safe custody of the Registrar General of this Court and would be produced as and when requisitioned by the Court.

Parties to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance of all requisite formalities.
