Today, also, when the writ petition has been called, none represented the petitioner.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report which reflects that a long standing civil dispute is pending between the petitioner and the private respondents and the police authorities are well aware regarding the ground reality as they have drawn up a proceeding under Section 126 of the BNSS at the relevant point of time.

Having considered that steps have been taken by the police authorities at the relevant point of time, I am of the view that further directions are not warranted.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 28378 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.
